Financial Controller up to £75K pa + Bens
London (Hybrid work- 4 days in the office)
Elite Audit & Finance Recruitment are working in partnership for a leading UK law firm in seeking a talented Financial Controller for the firm’s Finance function.
The firm is recognised by Chambers, The Legal 500 and Spears 500 for their excellence and integrity.
Whilst they are a well-established business, they are entering an exciting period of transformation and growth, bringing the dynamic energy of a start-up to their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing – Assisting with general payroll tasks and ensuring accuracy.
- General Ledger & Transactions – Processing financial transactions, journal entries, and general postings.
- Credit Control – Managing outstanding invoices and ensuring timely collections.
- Accounts Payable – Handling supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments.
- Excel Reporting & Analysis – Utilizing Excel for financial data management and reporting.
- Employment Hero (HR System) Support – Experience with Employment Hero or similar HR systems would be an advantage.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with some exams completed).
- Experience with Employment Hero or other HR systems is a plus.
- Strong experience in payroll, accounts payable, credit control, and transaction processing.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- A hardworking, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
