Client Manager (Part -qualified Accountant)
London, Hybrid. 12 months FTC- Perm
£40-45K pa + Bens
We are looking to recruit a Client Manager to join a growing and ambitious Accountancy firm with offices around the UK. The role will join their SME Team. The role will initially be a 12-month maternity cover, with the potential to become permanent as the business continues to grow and the opportunity develops. The firm are seeking someone to start as soon as possible to allow for an effective handover before the current Client Manager begins maternity leave.
We are seeking an experienced and part- qualified Practice Accountant (ACCA/ACA). The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of solid experience within an accountancy practice, strong technical skills, and the confidence to manage client relationships independently.
You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio and support the partners in the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and LLPs.
- Produce management accounts, forecasts and financial reports as required.
- Review accounts and VAT returns prepared by Semi Seniors and juniors.
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and personal tax returns.
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients, acting as main point of contact.
- Provide proactive advice to clients on accounting matters, compliance and best practice.
- Support the firm with workflow planning and resource allocation.
- Use a range of accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and practice software.
The hours are flexible and will offer hybrid work ideally 2-3 days in the office . The hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (flexible working available with core hours from 10 am to 4 pm).

• 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home
• 40 hours per week, 9:00 to 18:00 with a one-hour break (core hours 10:00 to 16:00)
