Corporate Finance Manager
London £100,000 + Bonus + Bens
Hybrid working
We are partnering with a leading shipping/ energy company in hiring for a new Corporate Finance Manager to compliment their Corporate Finance team in London.The role will report into the CFO and a dotted line into Head of Downstream.
We are seeking candidates with a Corporate finance background especially within the energy markets.
Purpose of the role:
Look after the business development side of the downstream business. Finance modelling and understanding the finance and future forecast of target acquisitions. Working across the onshore pipleline business and growth as they expand further in emerging markets.
Providing governance, acting as a regional support to ensure alignment to Group strategy. Cash management.
- Research, data gathering and analysis - review company’s financial statements, providing insights on their performance and recommendations
- Valuation and financial modelling - reviewing target acquisitions, forecasting in terms of ROC, ROI
- Stakeholder management - working with new customers, supporting senior leadership on decision making, working with regional based stakeholders
- Focus on continuous improvement and value add to current ways of working
- Business development - looking at strategies to grow the pipeline
- Planning & forecasting - need to understand trends in energy markets and use this to help planning for the next 1-2 years
Skillsets required:
- Ideally qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA
- Entrepreneurial mindset is key
- Proactive and uses initiative to get things done - comfortable working autonomously
- Works at pace and holds self accountable to deliver
- Able to work dynamically in a lean organisation - strategy and operational focus are both important
- Strong communicator - Able to compile complicated information and present it clearly and succinctly
Experience within energy markets is preferred
The salary is circa £100K + an excellent bonus and benefits provided.
